Hey friend!! Welcome, my name is Shanean.
I’m 41, mom to a beautifully blended family, and soon-to-be wife to Robert, aka “Joe”.
This hunk of a man not only holds the key to my heart but also can fix just about anything, get things off of tall shelves, and kills wired Florida bugs that would make most men scream like a girl.
So yes, I keep him around because I find him very handy and handsome. He tells great dad jokes, holds my hand, and opens my doors. (insert romantic sigh here)
As a mom to girls, I must say they do fill me with joy and keep me on my toes with the latest fashion trends and how uncool I seem to be with my mom attire and ponytail hair-do.
After 28 long years in Ohio, this Florida native decided to move home to the sunshine state. It has been a huge change but definitely one for the better. Plus, I’m 15 minutes from the beach, SCORE!
As a newly born health enthusiast and a more simple living mom, I have been able to take back my sanity, health, and home. This has allowed me to really focus on what matters most, my family, my faith, and our health.
I love natural remedies, fresh organic foods, and homegrown herbs. I have a tremendous passion for learning and self-improvement and ways to just make life easier and less stressful. Who doesn’t want less stress, yes please. I love to teach and encourage others how to save money, get out of debt, and organize their lives.
When I’m not trying to wear 7 hats at once, you know mom life, I can usually be found with my head in a book, digging in my garden, or plotting my next attempt to declutter a closet, cooking up a hot mess in the kitchen or planning my next DIY project. What can I say I love to stay busy.
FUN FACTS ABOUT ME:
I have a self-proclaimed blackbelt in decluttering and organizational skills.
I love the ocean but refuse to swim in it.
Currently, I am attending college to obtain my degree in Christian Counseling.
I gave up eating all sugar and simple carbs, wheat, and dairy for 60 days.
I lost 75 pounds in 6 months just by changing my eating habits.
I started my first business at 26 while being a stay-at-home mom.
